Inglewood Sunfest & Fringe Festival

Sunfest 2011-July 30th 11 am to 5pm www.inglewoodsunfest.com

It's all about having fun in the sun with this year's Inglewood Sunfest! This year we're building on the back- by popular- demand pie eating contest, the vintage car show, an expanded kids fun area, a ball hockey tournement, and of course the Inglewood Special-the antiques road show. Or just sit out on one of our many street patios, enjoy a glass of wine in the sun and some chilled-out people watching. Inglewood hipsters and fashionistas love to do this! Starting at 11am on Saturday July 30th, the street will come alive with performers, vendors, and fantastic food. Plan to come down and join this Inglewood tradition!

Calgary Fringe Festival 2011

What is a Fringe?

Fringes are uncensored, non-juried theatre festivals. The first Fringe started in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1947, and has grown into one of the biggest arts festivals in the world. The second-largest Fringe Festival is in Edmonton, Alberta , and draws nearly 800,000 attendees a year! Hipstoric, chillaxed Inglewood is proud to be home to the Calgary Fringe Festival, hosting performers and performances, and with lots of participating merchants who are excited to welcome this year's Fringe Festival to Calgary.
